For many years, Air Circuit Breaker have been utilised in low voltage switchboards,
manufactured by various manufacturers and for that period of time the ACB's have performed
their duties of providing primary protection.

With the evolution of modern ACB's, in many cases the availability of spares and the
subsequent servicing for these "Older" ACB's, has ceased. Here at JSS, we have recognised
the possible impact of this problem and have engineered a retrofit package that allows
any "Older" ACB to be replaced by the new range of ACB's now available to us.

We do not wish to imply in any way, that this situation will cause your "Older" ACB
to fail. But, we feel that this pro-active approach, will not only make you aware
of the possible problems that could occur, but will also give you a solution to these
possible problems in advance, by way of introducing a pro-active replacement programme.

A retrofit can be achieved in a matter of a few hours as a programmed replacement,
compared to afew weeksif this was to happen in an emergency breakdown situation.
Downtime and costly loss of production can be avoided, as this work can be carried
out at anytime to suit your site requirements. This would obviously not be the case
with a breakdown situation.

The retrofit process will save you the huge cost and inconvenience of replacing a
complete LV switchboard system, and will ensure that your existing system remains
healthy and serviceable.
